Continuous production line for processing insulation panels with double-sided flexible protective layer and a polyurethane hard foam core (PUR/PIR)
The endless strand of the element coming from the sandwich plate conveyor is divided into motherboards via diagonal saws and passed to the cooling and hardening section via roller and belt conveyors.
The cooling and hardening section, executed as a space-saving paternoster system (as option as horizontal cooling section), ensures steady dimensions of the insulation panel, which is subsequently passed on for further processing.
The longitudinal edges are processed in throughfeed with tongue/groove, a shiplap or a smooth contour via longitudinal profiling equipment.
In the cutting saw, the motherboards are cut to pre-defined, small formats and fed to the cross-profiling. Optionally, the insulation panels can also be provided with tongue/groove, shiplap or smooth contour in the cross direction.
Conveyors transport the processed insulation panels to an accumulation station and align them.
A stack gantry creates packages from the insulation panels. These packages pass through the shrink wrap tunnel and are packed according to customer’s requirements.
By means of a package stacker, the packages can be offset crosswise depending on the format, stacked up to a height of 2,400 mm and passed on to the finished parts storage.
